Alongside the Praetor 500 and 600, Embraer is showing off the Bandeirante at LABACE this year. The Bandeirante was originally developed in 1965 as a regional airliner and took it’s first flight at the end of 1968. First deliveries of the EMB-100 began in 1970. The 8 seat configuration was later stretched to 12 for the FAB (Brazilian Air Force). These two aircraft created the foundation for Embraer to become what a global leader in aviation.
