Gulfstream Officially Opens Newest Service Center

The $40 million, 190,00 square foot maintenance facility has officially opened it’s hangar doors on August 23rd. The Appleton Wisconsin location is part of Gulfstream’s global service center expansion. Additional service centers have been announced in Savannah, Van Nuys, Palm Beach and Farnborough, England.

Gulfstream held a grand opening ceremony with several dignitaries in attendance including the Governor of Wisconsin, Tony Evers and Senator Roger Roth. Gulfstream’s president of Customer Support, Derek Zimmerman said “This beautiful facility represents the most significant expansion we’ve had in the 20 years we’ve been here.”

The service center can accommodate 12 of Gulfstream’s flagship aircraft the G650ER as well as offices, back shops, and a new sales and design center. Announced back in February of 2018, the new facility will create an additional 100 new jobs with potential for more. The building was built with many sustainable features and is expected to receive certification with the US Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
