The full-scale prototype Alice is at the Paris Air Show as promised back in 2015.
Alice weighs in at 14,000-pound mtow with 8,200 of that being the lithium-ion batteries. The batteries provide 565 nautical miles of range with a 45-minute reserve. It can cruise at 240 knots at an elevation of 10,00ft. The three 260-kw Siemens electric motors are equipped with Hartzell variable pitch propellers. The motors are mounted to the tail and one at each wingtip.
Today Eviation Aircraft has secured a double-digit order from the US regional airline Cape Air. Alice is priced at $4 million. First flight of Alice is not scheduled until late this year.
